Students of Abrantes def. contest with promotion of tijeladas




A group of students of Abrantes, between 13 and 18 years and sourced from disadvantaged families or with behaviors considered deviant, won an international design competition for the promotion of local products. See the video.
Decided to participate in an international contest open to all schools in the European countries and North Africa, organised by the ONISEP-AGEFA SMES, a French institution, the integration project classes, education and training (PIEF) of Abrantes, the 2nd and 3rd cycle, working at school Manuel Fernandes, drew up a blog  (http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Ftigeladas.blogspot.pt%2Fand) a video clip around the tijeladas de Rio de Moinhos, a traditional sweet shops with source.

His work was put to the test in 33 schools from 15 different European countries.
Students won one of five first prizes, all of them contemplating a trip of 10 days Paris, level on points with French colleges of Italy, Ireland, Romania and Morocco.
"The goal of the contest was to make the promotion of a regional product so original and creative", explained told Portuguese news agency Lusa Rui Andre, one of the teachers of PIEF. "We didn't expect to win, was an immense joy for this team and for these young people, and seeing the list of competing until it seems that schools were the first division teams playing against an amateur team, which gave us even more satisfaction," said.
